A light white wine from Vouvray AOC

Summary

A crushed fruit fermentation wine, where hand-harvested and heavily sorted grapes are crushed, then fermented in neutral vessels at moderate white fermentation temperatures. These wines are not fermented to dryness will be stopped via chilling, racking and filtering while residual sugar remains. Malolactic conversion is avoided and maturation usually occurs in neutral vessels, before any light fining, sterile filtration and bottling in glass under premium cork.
