Pinot Gris Grand Cru

A light white wine from

Summary

This high quality white wine from Alsace is made from a grey grape and typically made using traditional winemaking techniques. Hand harvesting is required, with grapes spending an initial period of skin contact to extract flavour and increase texture. Fermentation happens at mid-range temperatures in an inert vessel with ambient yeast. Malolactic conversion is typically avoided. Often aged on fine lees in the same fermentation vessel for freshness.
