Oaked Fumé Blanc
(Outstanding)
A light white wine from Napa Valley AVA

Summary

A crushed fruit fermentation wine, where thoroughly sorted grapes are crushed, and left in contact with the skins for additional complexity and aromatic intensity. The pressed juice is then fermented in barrel at moderate temperatures, with optional lees stirring to add body and more complexity when desired. The resultant wine undergoes malolactic conversion and barrel maturation before release.
