Summary

A Crushed Fruit wine, often fermented by Ambient Yeast in oak barrel with a relatively high level of post-clarification solids. Aromas and texture from Lees Ageing and Oak Maturation are common for the style. Depending on vintage and mesoclimate, varying amount of Malolactic Conversion may occur and light fining and filtration is common before bottling in glass with screw top closures.
