Summary

Grape best known for textured and concentrated dry wines of Soave DOC but is also readily used in the production of sweet Appassimento wines. While the varietal can produce extremely high quality examples, it is high yielding and is therefore often used to create larger volumes of basic wines that are sold varietally or blended with grapes such as Trebbiano di Soave
