Arneis
A white variety, originally from Italy

Summary

Nearly extinct in the 1960s, this grape was revived through the efforts of a few producers. It is a complex but aromatically delicate grape that can lose acid very quickly when overripe, and oxidize easily in the winery, but can produce generous wines when handled deftly.
