Sometimes referred to as Groslot, this red grape is often found within Loire Valley. It is recognized for remarkably high yields, resulting in wines that are relatively light, acidic, and lacking in concentration. A grape currently in decline. Primarily employed in the production of rosé styles, its utilization in other wine styles is diminishing.
