Württemberg PDO

Summary

One of the largest wine regions in Germany, situated in the south-west, and bordered by the Neckar River to the north and the Swabian Jura mountains to the south. The landscape is characterized by rolling hills and vineyard terraces, with vines often planted on steep slopes, taking advantage of the southern exposure. Red wine production is the primary focus, from local varieties.
