Vinsobres AOC

Summary

The most northern of the Southern Rhône crus. Received AOC status in 2006 for its red wines. High elevated sites are dominant with diurnal ranges contributing to retained acidity in grapes. The final blend must be 50% Grenache with at least one (or both) Syrah and/or Mourvèdre. Some old vines of Carignan and Cinsault can be found here.
