The Peninsulas Zone

Summary

This viticultural zone holds the distinction of being the furthest west among all official zones in South Eastern Australia Zone. Its name refers to the two peninsulas of the Spencer Gulf. Spanning over 300km, it is difficult to generalize soils and climatic conditions. Sites near the coast are more temperate, with inland sites experiencing warmer conditions. Currently without any constituent wine regions.
