Saumur-Champigny AOC

Summary

This AOC is found in the Saumur department of the Loire Valley. It is named after the village of Champigny. This area is located on a tuffeau plateau and is dedicated to light early drinking red wines, that often have little to no oak maturation. If barrels are used, they are often neutral.
