Summary
The first awarded Premier Cru of the The Mâconnais, commanding the highest wine prices of the area. Marking the end of the limestone plateau synonymous with Burgundy, the area’s vineyard sites are located on steep slopes of a natural amphitheatre, which helps support full ripeness of fruit. Production is restricted to single varietal whites, and wines are rich in texture from oak maturation.
