Pfalz PDO

Summary

Also known as the Palatinate, is a wine region located in southwestern Germany. It is one of the largest and most productive wine regions, and benefits from a mild, semi-continental climate influenced by the Rhine River and the Haardt Mountains. It is one of the warmest and driest areas in Germany, with long, sunny and dry growing seasons. Vineyards are spread across rolling hills, river valleys, and slopes.
