Summary

Stretching from the US-Canada border in the south to the city of Vernon in the north. This valley in British Columbia sits between the Columbia and Cascade mountain ranges. A semi-arid climate with warm summers and relatively mild winters. The region benefits from long daylight hours, ample sunshine, and a large diurnal temperature variations. Vineyard sites sitting above the region's lakes enjoy moderation of temperatures in both winter and summer. Characterized by a mix of small family-owned wineries and larger estate wineries, a range of wine styles are produced, with increased sustainable and organic vineyard practices.
