Moulin-à-Vent AOC

Summary

Meaning ‘windmill’, this area is the most famous of the Beaujolais crus. The sloped vineyard sites near to the famed windmill itself are considered the most concentrated and long lived, tasting more like an old Burgundian expression. Wines from this area command the highest prices out of all the crus.
