A wine region at the Mount Carmel Range in Central Victoria Zone of Australia, known for producing full-bodied red wines, particularly from Shiraz. Unique terroir of ancient Cambrian soils, a warm continental climate, and high diurnal ranges allow grapes to ripen slowly and develop intense flavors. Dry farming is common.
