Hastings River Region

Summary

This region is within Northern Rivers Zone on the northern coast of New South Wales. Has a long history of viticulture and winemaking that dates back to 1837. Vine disease and competitive pressures lead to a halt in production, before the region was revived after 60 years of dormancy by the Cassegrain family and newly introduced varieties.
