Gippsland Zone

Summary

One the the largest zones of Victoria, yet with only 50 small wineries. It has 400kms of cool-climate coastline, wedged between the mountains and the sea. Industry involves small, family-owned vineyards and wineries. The many microclimates produce wine styles of structure yet elegance. Aromatic white wines, and Burgundian grapes are championed here.
