Frankland River Subregion

Summary

A key sub-region of the Great Southern Region. Located just inland from the Southern Ocean coast, the area contains some of the oldest vines in Western Australia. Consists of significant alluvial features such as flood plains and valleys with mixed clays and gravels. Sites are often found at elevation.
