Côte Chalonnaise

Summary

Red and white wine producing area within the Saône-et-Loire department of Burgundy. Located between the Côte d’Or and Mâconnais, there are five areas of importance. Vineyard sites are scattered and commonly planted on rolling hills. Soils are broadly similar to the Côte d’Or with limestone clay. This area offers reasonable pricing options.
