Chile

Summary

Increasingly modern and innovative wine producing country with a diverse range of growing conditions impacted by the Pacific Ocean, the Humboldt current, the Atacame desert, coastal and Andes mountain ranges, and particularly affected by El Niño. Largely unaffected by phylloxera, this country has many old ungrafted País vines alongside an international grape focus. One of the strongest economies of South America.
