Chassagne-Montrachet AOC

Summary

Appellation located in the Côtes de Beaune. More famed for its white production, than its equally abundant red wine production. Limestone Marl soil and calcareous clay outcrops provide diversity of fruit intensity. The Montrachet Grand Cru site is shared with northern neighbour Puligny-Montrachet AOC.
