Summary

A Languedoc appellation located in the far west, experiencing Atlantic maritime and Mediterranean influences. A mixture of Bordeaux varietals can be found on the deeper wetter soils in the west, while Languedoc varieties are often grown in the east where soils are more shallow and winds more prevalent. Organic practices are common here, with winemaking often considered rustic and traditional.
