Barbaresco DOCG

Summary

A red wine appellation in North-West Italy, considered a junior Barolo with regards to area under vine, wine structure and overall recognition. The production area is located north and east of the city Alba, with Nebbiolo grown in warmer sites at lower altitudes. Coupled with less required ageing, these wines reflect a slightly riper style in comparison to its famed neighbour.
