Banyuls AOC

Summary

A Mediterranean coastal French appellation within Roussillon known for distinctive and complex Vin Doux Naturels made from Grenache Noir (minimum 50%). Located at the eastern part of the Pyrenees, steep terraced vineyards contribute to increased production costs. Schist soils are low in fertility and free draining contributing to slow ripening conditions and increased intensity in wine.
