Aconcagua Region

Summary

Region of Chile named after the Aconcagua river and the existing volcano Mount Aconcagua, the highest mountain in South America, with extremely varied subsoils and climate. The clarity of the distinction between the new sub-divisions of the Andes, Entre Cordilleras, and Costa is particularly evident, and producers here, have been the first to adopt these labelling terms on their bottles.
