The wine industry has a huge range of certifications depending on your goals. The following are certifications with which the envision team has experience. They are just a sample of the certifications available. The choice of which to follow is ultimately based on your needs, study habits and desired future in the industry.

Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET)
Founded as a London-based charitable organization in the late 1960s, the WSET has grown to offer quality wine and spirits education world-wide. With over a 100,000 students working on a WSET qualification in 2020 through 2021, the organization offers awards at multiple tiers in wine, spirits and sake, as well as the top-tier Diploma in Wines.
Court of Master Sommeliers
The premier examining body for Sommeliers worldwide, the Court of Master Sommeliers(CMS) focuses on theory, tasting and service, helping to develop the critical skills necessary to lead and manage in hospitality settings and beyond. The CMS track has 4 stages of qualification with its highest level being the well-celebrated Master Sommelier (MS) diploma.
Wine Scholar Guild
An education and certification organization providing specialized and in-depth programs on the wines of key old-world regions found in France, Spain and Italy. The WSG focuses on deep understanding and building lasting expertise in these regions.
Society of Wine Educators
A US-based nonprofit organization that focuses both on education and certification of wine educators. Offering four credentials that cover a breath of wine and spirits education, the SWE aims to set a high standard for education and certification across a broad range of individuals in and around the wine industry.
