Helping students and professionals make deeper connections and gain a broader understanding of wine
We think Envision.wine is a great help to the way we learn about wine.
Try it and see if it fits your learning style.
Envision.wine is not a certification program or provider nor affiliaited with any program
or organization. We are a group of mentors, students and wine professionals looking for a new
way to learn so we created this online resource for students, or those already in the industry,
looking to learn more about wines, regions and grapes.
If you are already in the industry or working with a certification organizations but could use some extra
help pulling the pieces together or putting it all in context, then you are in the right place. If you are considering
the next step in your wine education, check out our list of certification organizations to find
the right organization or a provider in your area.
We created Envision.wine because learning should be more than memorizing facts.
- Organize reference data for hundreds of wines and varietals to be used during studying and tasting
- Use visual learning techniques to provide new ways to understand and recall key structures, climates, aromatics and locations
- Provide context and connection by translating the sea of facts to actionable and understandable information
- Give students tools to check their own understanding of key wines, varietals and regions using interactive questions
- Try to provide a single source of accurate information, drawing from university research, wine organizations, and governing bodies involved in the management and trade of wine
